Patriots Between Generations Club

Hello, I am your resident History major the Historical Patriot, and I am inviting you to join me on a quest to remember the past with honesty.

In this day and age, Americans are becoming quick to kick our history — the cold hard facts — ‘neath the metaphorical rug in hopes that future generations won’t remember both the victories and mistakes of the past. Young individuals are being raised to believe in only that which their teachers and professors indoctrinate them with, never knowing how to truly think for themselves. It is atrocious, honestly, to watch as my fellow companions grow to accept a feeble mind and critical tongue as wisdom. What about respectful, rational debating? What about free-thinking and curious intellectuals with a passion for vocalizing their opinions? I find myself taken aback at the shear ignorance we are being taught in school. That is why I have taken it upon myself to change colleges. For, it wasn’t the kindhearted professors that made me want to leave, but the enforcement of such terrible political culture that caused me to reevaluate my education. I began to realize that I didn’t want to be indoctrinated with such fear-mongering subjects as critical race theory, socialism, and allowed invasion of medical privacy.

This is where I stand. Today, I introduce the Patriots Between Generations Club. I am an individual who was born between the Millennial and Gen Z generations. Never have I felt a part of either generation and never do I want to be “lumped” into either group. Thus, I speak out for those like me who have never been formally labeled by standing up and giving my opinion on the matters at hand. It is absolutely heartbreaking to watch those younger than I being raised to fear others and themselves, constantly worrying about their identities, and never knowing what it’s like to have thoughts of their own. We are growing weaker and weaker by the day. What’s worse is that we are enablers of despair.

How dare we sit back and watch the world crumble before our eyes when thousands of men and women have fought for the very freedom we enjoy. How dare we disrespect the founders of our great nation by ignoring the principles they prepared. I will not let their deaths be in vain. I will be quiet no more. If everyone else in the world is allowed to have an opinion, I will certainly have mine. No longer will I silence myself for the sake of someone’s feelings. The most loving thing I can possibly do for someone else is to fight for their rights and freedoms. Because once they’re gone, they’re gone. There’s no way to win them back without war. And this History major doesn’t want to repeat history.

So, do with this what you will. Agree. Disagree. I don’t care. It’s not my job to babysit anyone’s feelings anymore. America is at risk of collapse and I can stay silent no longer.

All my love,

The Historical Patriot
